Monowai Estate Winery
Monowai make a stunning array of top quality Pinot Noir,
Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Merlot wines.
They are made exclusively from grapes grown on their 22ha vineyard, situated on stony river terraces in Crownthorpe, a cool, high altitude district of the Hawke’s Bay.
Owners Emma Lowe and Marcelo Nunez developed their winemaking skills in both New Zealand and Chile. The Monowai name refers to the single expanse of ocean that separates their homelands.
